When Steve was first diagnosed he told me that he had decided to call the tumour "Trevor" and so far as he was concerned Trevor was a terrorist and Steve was going to defeat him. Steve said that he had faced far worse things in his career, including being shot at and therefore Trevor would prove to be little more than a temporary inconvenience. Sadly that was not the case but it has left me with a lasting impression of a courageous and inspirational man.
